Surprise! You Are NOT on Candid Camera

What a wonderful day that was full of surprises and great things happening.  I believe I as so grateful and blessed to work for a company that is focused on taking care of its employees and working with such a great group of people.  Today, I received a very nice surprise.  I was sitting in my office and the company President and CFO walk into my office and close the door.  At this time, I’m about to have a fainting spell because I had no clue why the owners of the company were coming into my office and closing the door.  It became very apparent that their visit was to deliver great news.  Our company owner proceeds to tell me what a great job I did on a recent property acquisition and for my efforts and hard work, they would like to acknowledge me and show their gratitude in the form of a special bonus.  When they handed me the check, I just started to cry and to thank them for being such great leaders.  At first I thought this was some kind of joke and someone would be coming around the corner and say, “smile, you’re on candid camera.”  Well, that was not the case.  It is so nice to work for an organization that recognizes its employees and their hard work when it comes to closing deals that benefit the company as a whole.  I am beyond blessed.  I’ve been employed here for almost 8 years and they never cease to amaze me.  Smiling all the way to the bank!  Have a wonderful day!  I sure did!!!
