Another Round of Stormy Weather

Our area was faced with another weather challenge today that will more than likely go into Thursday as well thanks for Tropical Storm Bill in the Gulf.  Even though we are in North Texas, we are receiving the remnants of the storm that was downgraded to a tropical depression.  This morning’s commute was quite interesting because there were periods of rain pouring down so hard to the point where you could not see even with the windshield wipers on the highest level they could go.  It was not a great time to be on the road, but by God’s grace, everyone that I know made it to their destinations safely.  Thankfully we have not experienced the level of flash flooding that we saw in May.  It’s amazing how we were suffering from a severe drought for many years and now we’ve received record rainfall in 2015 that has erased the drought conditions.  I can only be thankful because of this and know that our most precious needs are being met by our great and mighty Father in Heaven.
Even though today would have been a great day to just sleep in and stay under the covers, it is so nice to be blessed to have a job to come to.  After everything that many people have gone through and still may be going through related to their job situation, it is a true blessing to have a great place to come to work and a place that shows their appreciation towards their employees.
As we continue to go through this rainy Wednesday, we are very blessed to have rain where some portions of the country are in need of water.  No complaints here about all the wet weather.  It’s a blessing.  Have a wonderful day.
