Celebrate and Enjoy Life

So many times you see individuals who are only existing in life and not living.  This is not a great way to live the life that we have been granted on this earth. Each and every day should be spent doing something that you enjoy and trying out new and exciting adventures that you may have always wanted to do but never had the chance to do so.
On today, our dear friend and fellow church musician, Brandon Harris was laid to rest.  I am simply amazed at the amount of people that he touched in his short time here on Earth.  People from all over the United States traveled to DeSoto, Texas to pay their respects to Brandon.  It was truly a celebration of his life and it was upbeat just like he would have wanted it because that was the type of person he was.
Have you ever thought about what type of legacy you will leave when you pass away?  It’s something that I briefly thought about in the past, but not until I witnessed this outpouring of love during this hard time, it got me to thinking about my own life.  Am I doing what I need to do in order to impact the lives that I’ve been destined to touch and help change?  Am I living life and celebrating it daily?  Am I really enjoying my life as it is or do I need to make some adjustments?  Just a lot of thoughts going through my mind right now.  I can thank Brandon for inspiring me to reach out and share some knowledge that I have with my small business with another small business owner.  Brandon was not selfish and helped any musician, young or old, with how to improve playing the organ because as they say, Brandon was a “beast” on the organ.  You couldn’t wait until Sunday came around because you knew you were going to be blessed with some spiritual and moving music.

If you are currently just existing and not living, take the steps necessary to change that around.  You should be enjoying each day you are alive.  Start living and not just existing.  Here’s to a wonderful day.
