Last weekend, our community was hit with at least 10 tornadoes and two of the hardest hit cities were Garland and Rowlett. I had a chance to see some of the devastation today in person and oh my goodness, I was not prepared for what I saw. You see the pictures in the newspaper, on other's social media pages and on the news. There's a totally different element seeing the damage in person. I am just amazed that the death toll was not higher because there are total neighborhoods where all of the houses are completely leveled. There was also one street where all of the houses were completely gone and only one house remained standing and it was a 2-story home. Continue to keep the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and all other individuals who were impacted by the tornado outbreak that happened on December 26, 2015, a day we will never forget.
I am not sure I could go and see this. Prayers are going out for everyone involved.
