Today proved to be one of those days where everything seemed to go against plans. I had a delivery scheduled for my new refrigerator and freezer to be delivered today, but they rescheduled me to tomorrow. After getting off of the phone with the appliance store, I then noticed that I had misplaced my glasses. When I left to go pick up the boys from school, it started pouring down raining and the boys do not like it when the rain touches them. What a day! All I can say is that I'm very proud of myself because I could have easily lost my cool and allowed the situations that I encountered today to get the best of me, but I didn't. I just took a step back and looked up towards Heaven and just smiled and told God that I was not going to fail this test that He had placed into my life. Be careful what you pray for becuase it will definitely come to you in a way you had not anticipated. I've been praying for patience for the longest time and I am finding myself being placed in different situations that require patience and to take the higher road when dealing with the matter at hand. The old me would have been in a bad mood, would have called the delivery company and gave them a piece of mind, but today, I did not do any of that. I just had to smile because I knew that God as dealing with and I was focused on not letting this get me down today. Sure enough, I feel great and I even got a discount because the delivery error was their fault. Have a great day!
