It is so difficult to comprehend why some things in life take place. It is very unbelievable to witness another senseless mass shooting where innocent people were killed and injured. It is very numbing to know that these types of events are happening too often these days. There are no words that can be said that can ease the intense hurt and grief that the families of the victims are going through right now. From the reports that have been released to the public, the manner in which the victims were murdered is beyond comprehension. I am deeply saddened by seeing this happen again. It is in times like these that we really need to humble ourselves and truly pray for healing for this world. There is just too much going on in the world.
When things like this happen, you see communities across the country coming together and joining in to help those who are directly impacted by tragedies of this nature. You also see communities who have gone through a similar tragedy live those events that happened to them all over again and just opens up old wounds. It is in times like this that your faith may be tested, but we know that God still sits upon the throne and He is still our protection and our comforter. I am at a loss for words today. I'm reaching out to my family and friends and letting them know how much I love them. Tragic events like this are happening too often. Please take a moment out of your day to say a prayer for the families of the victims, the community, and for the world.
