There's a Big Football Game in Town this Weekend

The streets of Dallas, Texas are filled with burnt orange and red because this is the big Texas-OU rivalry game weekend.  I haven't seen so much orange and red in my life.  At lunch, there were visitors here from as far as California to attend the game on Saturday.  I met so many interesting people today during my lunch hour because I went to the shopping center across the street from my job and there were Texas fans and Oklahoma fans everywhere.  There were some good debates going on between the two sides and each of them were talking trash to each other about who was going to be victorious.
With Texas struggling right now so many of the Oklahoma fans were staing that it was a given that they would win over Texas. You never can tell with these college football games these days because sometimes the underdog comes out the winner.
There's nothing like being in a city with a huge rivalry game taking place as well as the big State Fair of Texas that is in full operation.  There are so many visitors coming to town which is very good for businesses and the local economy.  Thankfully the weather is good, but it is a little warm for October, but no one is complaining.  One year, it rained for days which really hurt the overall success of the State Fair of Texas.  This year, there has not been a rainy day yet and there's only one more week left for the fair.  This should be a great weekend.  Go LONGHORNS!!
