Today is Wednesday and many of us call it “hump day” because it’s the middle of the work week and that means that the weekend will be here soon. This weekend will be a nice one because of the Labor Day holiday on Monday. I hope that you are able to take advantage of not having to go to work and enjoy an extended 3 day weekend.
It’s so interesting to watch the expressions made by fellow co-workers as well as listen to conversations that go on in the office about what a relief it is that we made it half way through the work week. During this time of year, we get very busy in accounting due to budgets, interim audits, new client acquisitions, and new software systems being implemented. The theme of the day is let’s get through this half way point and sprint toward the weekend.
It’s nice to have something to look forward to in life. I believe that really keeps you going when the times get tough. When you have something to look forward to such as retiring early because your hard work in building your business has paid off, it makes are real difference in your actions and your attitude. You know that you are just about to reach the mark of being able to retire early from your job and live comfortably without having to worry about money and this will really impact the way that you act, you think, and how much celebrating you’re going to be doing because you’re going to be free to do what you want and when you want to do it.
