Over the past few years, I have observed various people sharing their vision boards with other. They have specific goals and dreams they want to achieve and have a related picture to go with that specific goal or dream. Many people find this to be an instrumental tool in achieving success and ultimately seeing their goals become their reality because they are constantly looking at the pictures or phrases they have placed on their vision board. These constant reminders are great ways to keep your "why" in perspective and to actively take actions towards achieving your goals. Some of the basic pictures on a vision board include the house of your dreams, the car of your dreams, your dream vacation, pictures of you giving back to your church, community, or neighborhood, pictures of your family and friends, pictures of what your wardrobe will consist of, and many many other pictures. I've been told that the more specific you are, the more it will be embedded into your mind and push you even more to achieve what your heart is set on accomplishing.
Do you have a vision board that you frequently look at and really think about on a daily basis? I'm going to make a vision board for myself. I truly believe it will be that continuous push that I need to get to the next level in my career. I know that looking at your goals that are in writing keeps you focused, but I truly believe that the vision board will take my focus several steps forward. Here's to a wonderful day!.
