We Made it Through to Another Monday

The weekends just seem to pass by so quickly and Monday is here again.  Mondays are sometimes a challenging day because the events of the weekend tend to catch up with individuals and it can be quite an interesting day.  Just think, we made it through to another Monday and we made it successfully through.

How did your Monday start off?  Did you pick up where you left off on last Friday or did you just start on a new project that you have always wanted to work on?  Were you able to make those Monday meetings without forgetting that they were taking place?  No matter what you did today, count it a blessing that you woke up this morning and was able to see a new day that was not promised to us.  Making the most of the time that you have been blessed with is so important and should not be taken lightly.  Count it a blessing when you are given a new assignment that only you can perform because of your expertise.  Count it a blessing when you are selected to part of a special team on your job because of your skill set.  Many people may say that they just don’t have time for anything extra, but this could very well be your opportunity to shine and to open doors for new things in the future.  You never know what your future holds when you are given an opportunity to be part of a special assignment.  This is what Monday brought for me.  I was asked to be part of a special team for a new Accounts Payable system implementation we are rolling out in January 2016.  This is something completely different for me and I am very excited about this opportunity.  Now I know why God blessed me to get some rest this past weekend.  He knew that I would be given a new assignment in addition to my regular duties.  Hope you have a wonderful Monday and enjoy your day!
