Focus on the Progress Not the Struggle

It’s funny how the brain works.  When something takes place in our lives it seems like the automatic response is one of a negative nature vs. a positive nature.  When we receive an unexpected phone call or an unexpected email or letter, the majority of people assume that something bad awaits them on the other end.  I’m guilty of this too and the majority of the times that this has happened, the news has been of a positive nature and then I tell myself why didn’t I believe that there could be something positive vs. negative.

You may be working hard on a daily basis to accomplish the tasks required for you to become an independent and wealthy individual.  There will be days when you absolutely feel that your hard work is not paying off because you want to experience your ultimate success right now, but this does not always happen overnight and in some cases it takes a couple of years to get to where you want to be in life.  It is only natural to focus on the struggles that you are experiencing instead of focusing on the progress that you have made so far.

Just think of where you are right now and reflect on where you started.  If you are not where you want to be at this given time, this is a great time to take an assessment of your current status compared to where you projected yourself to be at this time in your life.  The results can really set you into full force and to work harder.  Don’t put all of your efforts in dwelling on the challenges and struggles.  Doing this will not get you anywhere.  Look at where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you are going in the future.  Have a wonderful day.
