Pardon Me, But Do You Have the Time?

Have you ever been stopped by a person and they ask you this question:  “Do you Have the Time?”  Immediately we turn to our wrist and look at our watch or we look at our mobile device and see what the clock says and proceed to give them the current time.  Have you ever thought that the person asking this question may be asking you for something completely different?  What if this person is actually asking if you are available to speak with them about your business or being a mentor because they have seen you be successful in your business and want to schedule some time with you to discuss what you do and how you do it. 

You may never know who is watching you and who may want to follow in your footsteps in business and in life.  It is so important to make time for individuals who show a true passion for creating wealth and changing their lives.  Unfortunately, because many successful people are extremely busy, making time can be a challenge.  Always remember that there was someone before you who made time out of their busy schedule to mentor and coach you in the beginning and we should always try to pay it forward to the people who are seeking an opportunity to change their lives and becoming your business partner.  So the next time someone asks you, “pardon me, do you have the time?” turn to them and smile and say, “yes, I do have the time.  How may I help you?”  because they may not be asking for the time that’s on a clock display, but asking for time with you.  Have a wonderful day!
