After consecutive days of rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flash flooding, one of God’s precious creations came to visit up for the second day in a row. This beautiful creation that has brought so much joy and hope is the sunshine. After going through so many days of gloomy weather with the skies being cloudy and dark, it is so wonderful to see the bright sunshine beaming down on us and bringing a renewed sense of life and joy. Many people here voiced that they did not realize just how much the sunshine really meant to them until it was not there. We often take things for granted in life and realize just how much they mean to us and just how much they impact our lives when they are no longer there. It’s just something about walking outdoors and feeling the heat from the sun and seeing the bright glowing light that the sun radiates upon us. This is truly a sign that there is a brighter day in store for each of us, not only in the physical sense of actually seeing the sun and feeling the sun’s heat, but this is a way of showing how our lives are made anew. Sometimes we go through gloomy periods in life where the challenges we face make it seem like we are going through a horrible and severe storm. Everything happens for a reason and this storm that you are going through is only preparing you for greater and making you take time to think about some of the people and activities you are currently associated with and God is allowing you to hit a bump in the road to bring certain things to your attention. After you go through the storm successfully, you will then experience the bright sunshine in your life where your challenges have been resolved and you are made anew. If you are going through a personal storm, always remember that there is a brighter day coming for you. You may not know when, but it is on the way! Have a wonderful day.
