The Proper Mindset Can Really Make a Difference

Over the past 10 years, I have had a dream of becoming a real estate investor.  For one reason or another, that dream never became a reality until now.  In the past, I was afraid of venturing out due to the unknown.  Also, I did not have the proper mindset to do what was required in order to successfully become a real estate investor.

On April 24^th through April 26^th of this year, I was blessed to attend a 3 day seminar.  Part of the seminar featured a section on mindset.  This presentation completely changed the way that I think and gave me the confidence to finally make my dream of becoming a real estate investor a reality.  The facilitator really opened my eyes to the way many of us view life, debt, work, and family.  He completed turned out mindset around to think of some of the aspects in life from a different perspective.  For example, instead of being a W-2 wage earner, think of yourself as an entrepreneur and instead of being told what to do, you make the decisions.  It was an example where the way we have been traditionally taught and raised was on the left and the opposite was on the right.  He made sure that we understood that what we have been accustomed to was not wrong, but to open our eyes to the fact that there is an “opposite” to what we been taught.  Oh my goodness, I am so right minded now and it’s because of this powerful presentation that I can say that my dream of becoming a real estate investor has now become a reality.  Shortly after the seminar, I invested in a coach and a complete real estate training program and just say after 2 weeks of training, obtaining a buyers list of over 50 people, and having 11 properties now in the pipeline to close, having the right mindset has allowed me to see this day.  At first I was apprehensive about using a credit card to fund the program, but then I looked at my mindset chart.  Instead of viewing it as getting into debt (left mind thinking), I viewed it as leverage (right mind thinking).  Just say what I invested, I will make it back plus a nice return on my first deal. 

I never would have gotten to this point had I not changed my mindset and views about things.  I’m so excited and my future looks very promising.  Have a wonderful day!
